Dudley’s Aluminium, one of the largest aluminium fabrication businesses based in Wales, has signed contracts for two projects worth GBP 1 million (EUR 1.12 million). The company will support construction projects in Oxford and Exeter.
Dudley’s secured both projects from Kier Construction, one of the UK’s largest integrated property, residential, construction and services group.
The first contract for new student accommodation will see Dudley’s work on installing Metal Technology System 17 capped curtain walling and Metal Technology System 435/535 windows and doors.
The second project secured by the Welsh company is to support the construction of a new building for Oxford-based Infineum’s Project Maia, where Dudley’s will install Kawneer curtain walling and doors.
The work has already begun on both projects with construction completion planned for November 2018 for Project Maia and February 2019 for student flats in Exeter.
Celebrating after securing the contracts, Colin Shorney, Managing Directr of Dudley’s Aluminium, said:
“We are thrilled to have secured two more projects this year and are delighted to be working with Kier Construction, an outstanding construction company. Both projects are great additions for their local area. Project Maia is the start of a big investment for Infineum, which will bring in more than 80 jobs to Oxfordshire, while GSA in Exeter demonstrates the support for future generation’s education. We are proud to be part of two major construction projects.”
